Tuttavia, Mattias ha chiesto alla fabbrica di lame Yasaka di sviluppare una lama un po' più veloce, ma con la massima sensibilità possibile sulla palla. Dopo aver testato diversi materiali di carbonio, combinazioni e spessori di impiallacciature in legno eravamo sulla strada giusta. Utilizzando il giapponese Premium Carbon (JPC) e 5 impiallacciature in legno negli spessori esatti abbiamo ottenuto la costruzione perfetta. La sfida finale per ottenere la lama perfetta per Mattias è stata il metodo di incollaggio.
Pochi mesi prima del WTTC 2019 Mattias ha iniziato a utilizzare la nuova lama e i suoi risultati sono stati davvero buoni: semifinale nel World Tour Platinimum Qatar Open e medaglia d'argento ai Campionati del mondo di Budapest.
