Il Palio Amigo 40+ è leggermente più lento degli altri 40+ / Premium pad di Palio. È anche meno elastico e giocoso, ancora più di un tipico rivestimento cinese. Ciò è dovuto ovviamente alla gomma superiore, che non è stata modificata rispetto alla vecchia versione del Palio Amigo ed è quindi una gomma superiore appiccicosa di vecchio design. La spugna dell'Amigo 40+ è dura quanto la spugna dell'Amigo (durezza circa 42-44 gradi), ma è molto più veloce e più forte della catapulta. La grande resistenza di questa versione è certa, ma il controllo è ancora difficilmente inferiore. L'Amigo 40+ è quindi un pavimento per un gioco di blocco e contrattacco spiacevole, le cui elevate riserve di tempo consentono anche efficaci attacchi propri. È particolarmente adatto per il gioco vicino al tavolo con movimenti del braccio più corti. È anche una bella alternativa per i giocatori che hanno giocato sotto copertura da Friendship.
